Absolutely nothing. |

It's simple. Just click on 'register' on the home page and fill in the form – your contact details, exhibition history and education background are mandatory. You can upload a minimum of five and a maximum of 15 artworks, so that the curators have a comprehensive idea of your style and oeuvre. Only when a curator accepts the work, does the batch move to the next level where prices are finalised with the artist. |

| How safe is my art at TFT and how do you prevent piracy? |
top |
Your art is a hundred percent safe, because we're one of the only galleries to invest in Lock Lizard, a state-of-the-art anti-piracy software. Which means, that even though you upload high resolution images, nobody can make prints out of them unless authorised by us. We have further web tools to ensure that not more than a thumb-nail size of your image can be saved by any website visitor, onto their computers. |
| |
| Can I watermark my images? |
top |
No you cannot. We do not encourage it because |
| |
a) It dilutes the effect of the image |
| |
b) Anybody with basic Photoshop skills can remove the watermark anyway, so it's not as strong a piracy deterrent as other TFT web tools in place (see Lock Lizard). |

| What are Art Prints-on-Demand? |
top |
Our Art Prints-on-Demand program allows an artist to make art prints and original Art-in-Utility merchandise from the image of his/her artwork. This facility allows buyers to choose and purchase a particular artwork as an archival quality print. It's also a major part of our alternative revenue program for our artists, where they can choose to enter their artworks in our print program. More buyers will then be able to afford interesting versions of an artist’s artwork, at attractive prices |
| |
Besides making your art more accessible, this helps you generate additional revenue for yourself without even selling your artwork. Print-on-Demand can also create a recurrent income flow from the same artwork. You reach more buyers who can hence afford interesting versions of your artwork, at attractive prices |

| How can I optimize my art for search efficiency? |
top |
While describing your art during the artist registration process, do remember to optimize your art for search efficiency. The fuschia Tree’s advanced search options allow buyers to search your work by color / themes / subjects / categories etc. Some tips to remember when optimizing your art:
| 1 |
Be descriptive. Use as many different words as you can to describe your art. |
| 2. |
Categorize it accurately. The TFT art description page has options for title, genre, colors, and media used. |
| 3. |
Do not use uncommon words. Try to put yourself in the buyer’s shoes and understand which words they might use while searching for a piece of art. |
| 4. |
Do not use two words when one would suffice and do not use hyphens. Most buyers will not use hyphens or other punctuations in their search. |
