Abstract Art

Abstract art has the wonderful capacity of indicating a departure from reality in depiction of imagery in art. Perfect representation in abstract art is exceedingly elusive and the art takes liberties to experiment in colour, line and form in ways that are conspicuous yet deeply indulgent. Anil Soni’s abstract expressions of city traffic, the environment, nightscapes and the city of Varanasi are beautifully created on canvas and handmade paper.

Baba has widely exhibited outside the country and this was his much awaited solo exhibition, ‘The Major Arcana – The Fool’s Journey’.
