   Our cup of joy runneth over! So much is happening on The Fuschia Tree this month, that our excitement knows no bounds. We will unveil our first exhibition – a new concept décor show aptly titled Mint Green, after this season’s hottest color, in September. Adding to that, our online gallery will be opening as I write this, showcasing a veritable treasure trove of eclectic artworks from around the world.
 
   This month’s features are a medley of hints, tips, and useful knowledge to deal with all the various facets of art. Continuing with our theme of green, read up on Fall 2008’s décor trends in A Hint of Mint. Explore practical tips useful for every artist in dealing with the necessary evil of Copyrights and in a continuation of our series on kitsch, delve further into how this oft-disparaged art style made it to the members-only club in Kitsch-ing. Also not to miss are our Artists’ Speak and Featured Artist sections this month. Brushing the cobwebs off our art history books, we start a new series this month tracing the history of art through historical interpretations in Mapping Art Through The Ages.

And we know Science and Art are worlds apart – and never the twain shall meet – but overturning this truism, we discover that the two worlds have collided in a wonderful bang in our article on art making its presence felt in the computer game Second Life.
